The app used to work, but after the last update it wont open. I only recieve a shader template error. Ill gladly give it 5 stars if it were working again.

This game wasn’t bad. At first. It’s lighthearted, silly, and makes you feel somewhat strategic. After that, it all dies. I bought this game a while ago on a different account. Back then, you clicked the bird and dragged the bird. That worked. The scheme where you don’t even have to click is alright if you enjoy wasting birds to backfires. Second, the physics is wrong. Sure, the birds follow some kind of arc that fits with the standard idea of how a projectile works. However, the birds are given too much mass for their size, and the force of gravity is 2 m/s^2, resulting in a game that is at bbest infuriating to anybody with a basic knowledge of physics. Finally, there is the difficulty. No matter how hard the level is supposed to be, the format of the game makes it always fairly easy to figure out which spots to aim the birds at to win. In fact, the only skill required is patience to waste shot after shot on near misses. So, this game gets 1 star on 3 counts: Terrible controls, terrible physics, and badly judged difficulty

After upgrading my MacBook (late 2010) to Mountain Lion, Anrgy Birds has been problematic - cannot zoom in or out, the preference is grayed out so one cannot alter their settings, and music is rather annoying as it keeps going and going. I love the start-up music, but it should stop after a few seconds, not keep going on and on. I had Anrgy Birds since early 2010 on an older Mac and zero problems until now, when all of my files were transferred. An awesome game, but it needs some fixing up and house cleaning.

The Angry Birds are just as good as ever, and maby even better on Mac. Its packed full of fun episodes and hard levels. The unique cartoon landscape gives it a feel that not many other games can pull of. It also looks great on a big screen. The gameplay is simple, yet winning each level is difficult. It makes you feel extremely frusturated sometimes, then after countless tries you finally destroy all the Pigs and shout for joy. Its a great game for competing against friends, too. Overall, Angry Birds is just as good on Mac than it is on any other device, and it is still the best game ever made.

For me I like to use the mouse. But the programs males it harder than it should be to zoom out to show the whole board and then when you do, it’s nearly impossible to get the mouse to work in the game. Work out that will you…..Thanks.

I used to really like Angry Birds, but not any more. The user interface makes it unplayable on a MacBook Pro. It gets confused with gestures and keeps opening applications or switching screens. I miss the old style of click and drag then release, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to set the UI controls - no preferences.

i have purchased every single angry bird game on every device i own (even if it called for paying again on an ipad versus i phone) BUT what i cant wrap my head around is why i cant play all levels of all games you offer on my 27 inch MAC. why can’t i play angry bird star wars 11. why am i SO limited to mac gamng apps on my mac desktop and macbook pro laptop. its 2015, SERIOUSLY what is the big to do? same as why cant i play GSN on my mac but can on every other apple device? come on dont you think i want to play this all on my desktop?

My favorite section of all is ‘Short Fuse’. Lots of fun and it makes me laugh out loud! But … there are an additional 15 levels that have said “Coming Soon!” since I first got this over a year ago. When are those levels actually coming???

Its so awakward to play on the mac. It starts out with the mouse in whatever place you left it at. You should be able to set your mouse before it brings the bird back in the sling. The worst part thouth is the timing between when you click and the bird action is way off. You cat beat any levels when the level depends on you timing your birds action at a certain point.

I just bought this game a few weeks ago, and it WAS FUN, but really difficult in the upper levels, HOWEVER, The Game has simply STOPPED WORKING and rebooting, and updating Shockwave Flash will not make it work. Occasionally I get a “Verification Check” (which should NOT be an issue), but the game will NOT come up on the screen. These are the latest Flash Player Plug-ins . . . . . NPAPI Plug-in version 20.0.0.306 is installed. PPAPI Plug-in version 20.0.0.306 is installed. UPDATE: I had to delete the game and reinstall it in order to get the game to start working again. So I have upgraded the rating to a three, but never have I ever had to do this for any game before.
